A Word of Encouragement
Give What You Can!
Beethoven was deaf and found conversation difficult and humiliating. After hearing of the death of the son of a close friend he rushed to the house overcome with grief. Without saying a word he went to the piano and began to play. For more than an hour and a half he played his music. Later his friend would comment that Beethoven's visit meant more to him than any other that day.
How often do we withhold a gift to others because of our limitations. Your small acts of kindness make a major difference to others. Each day the greatest opportunities are the ones you have for giving and caring. Simon Peter was approached as he went to worship by a crippled beggar asking for money. Peter had no money but responded "I don't have any money for you. But I'll give you what I have." Acts 3:6 NLT His prayer resulted in God healing the beggar.
Don't underestimate the gifts God has entrusted to you. Never let your limitations blind you to the opportunity to give what you have. Give what you have and watch God change your world!
